IR machine vision systems: sensing liquid level in bottles

The liquid level sensor for bottles is designed to detect the level of liquid directly through non transparent plastic bottles, without opening them. It is well suited for control applications on conveyors, where fast and accurate measurements are required. The output of the system can either be a length or a volume with a go / no go PLC signal.

This system typically includes:

- 1 infrared camera with IR lamps
- 1 industrial PC with a PLC communicating with the camera

The specification of each component is to be carefully selected depending on your needs. Visiooimage engineers help you selecting the right components with the right specifications and ensure that the bench setup will work with the materials to be tested.
