IR NDT systems: optical pulsed thermography

Infrared thermography used in pulsed mode for non destructive testing has the advantage to be fast and accurate for most material inspection. See the Thermography Tutorial on the left for more information on pulsed thermography.

A pulsed thermography setup typically includes:

- 1 or more flash lamps
- 1 table that supports the flash lamp
- 1 controller to synchronize the acquisition with the flash lamps
- 1 acquisition station (PC)
- 1 infrared camera
- protective helmets against the light

Components are carefully selected depending on your needs. Visiooimage engineers help you selecting the right components with the right specifications and ensure that the bench setup will work with the materials to be tested.
