Infrared Thermography Systems for NDT

Visiooimage Linescan Head: NDT for Large Surfaces or Complex Parts

Advancing Quality Control Through Infrared Thermography

Visiooimage Inc. is a leading designer and manufacturer of standard to advanced Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) systems utilizing infrared thermography (IRT). We deliver innovative solutions for quality control and defect detection across a diverse range of industries.

Uncovering Subsurface Defects with Speed and Precision

IRT systems enable the detection of hidden and subsurface defects in a wide variety of materials – including metals, plastics, composites (such as CFRP), wood, and concrete. Our technology effectively identifies and characterizes defects like delaminations, porosity, impact damage, disbonding, water ingress, cracks, corrosion, and voids. The result is a fast, easily interpretable process, available in both automated and transportable configurations.

The Benefits of Thermographic NDT

Thermograhic NDT offers a compelling combination of advantages: speed (once properly calibrated), non-contact inspection, single-sided access, inherent safety, and the elimination of consumables. Our systems support manual, real-time, fixed, inline, in-motion, and fully automated inspection methods. The digital image-based results are readily interpretable by human inspectors and are also ideal for integration with advanced AI-powered analysis engines.

Applications Across Industries

Visiooimage Inc. serves a broad spectrum of industries, including: Aerospace, Space, Automotive, Marine, Rail, Composite Manufacturing, and Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO). IRT is widely used in Research & Development, as well as in production and MRO environments where exhaustive testing is critical.

Driving Innovation in Lightweight Materials

As manufacturers increasingly prioritize lightweight materials to enhance energy efficiency in transport and reduce the ecological footprint, the need for reliable NDT solutions becomes paramount. In industries such as aerospace, automotive, and marine, composite materials are being pushed to their limits. While reducing material thickness helps reduce weight, it also introduces potential structural weaknesses. Visioimage Inc. provides the quality assurance necessary to confidently utilize these advanced materials, ensuring both performance and safety.

Quebec, Canada, 2025-04-19 Brand-new website is now live!

For nearly two decades (2008-2025), our website – built with clean, hand-written code in Adobe Dreamweaver – served as a valuable resource for clients seeking Infrared Testing by Thermography. While efficient and minimalist in its time, the rapid advancements in web technology required us to move forward.

We’ve archived the old site for our company’s history, and replaced it with a fully responsive version. The content has also been completely updated to better reflect who we are today.
